Life's a Beach 🏖️ with Joli Vyann

In 2024 as part of the New Forest District Council allocation of Shared Prosperity Funding, designated for improving the local cultural offer, the Council invested in three new, homegrown, theatre shows produced right here in the New Forest. 

A playful new performance piece. Life’s A Beach observes family life and classic seaside culture via a fusion of dance and circus skills. This fun, chaotic and light-hearted piece weaves in seaside stories of why people love the beach, or hate it – whilst exploring some serious issues like pollution, overcrowding, tourism, and keeping beaches clean. The research and development for this show took place with our residents living in our New forest coastal towns. 

We have already enjoyed many performances of the show locally, but you have another chance to see it on Monday 21st April in Milford on Sea. More information to be shared soon via https://www.joli-vyann.com/tour-dates.
